Developing
an environmental awareness in
children to build a sustainable
future
The
importance of a solid foundation
is a lesson strongly reinforced
throughout my architectural
studies. I believe the success and
stability of a global initiative
on environmental change also
requires a strong foundation. The
foundation for this initiative is
a generation of environmentally
conscious children who live
sustainable lifestyles. These
children, by the time they reach
adulthood, are prepared to take on
the responsibility of maintaining
a healthy environment and will
continue to make positive
environmental contributions.
As
Miss Emerald City 2008 I will I
will empower children to improve
their global community by sharing
with them creative, sustainable
ways in which they can
participate. Getting children
involved and aware now is the key
to ensuring the healthy future of
our planet. It is our
responsibility as adults to
prepare our successors for this
challenge. Join me in taking
positive and decisive action

City.
