About Reagan

Reagan Rebstock, Miss Seattle, is a graduate of the University of Washington, where she earned a degree in Communications. While at UW, she was a member of the UW Spirit Squad, competing nationally and helping the team make finals for the first time in school history. After graduating, Reagan spent four years as a Senior Recruiter in the marketing space at TEKsystems before transitioning into the nonprofit sector. In August, she joined Best Buddies Washington as a Program Manager, where she works within the Friendship Programs—managing chapters across Washington state and creating meaningful spaces for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to connect with peers and build lasting relationships. Reagan’s CSI, “Embracing Our Differences: Inclusion for All,” is deeply personal and rooted in her lived experience. Beginning at the age of seven, Reagan formed friendships with individuals of different abilities—experiences that shaped her understanding that people with disabilities are, first and foremost, people deserving of inclusion, respect, and belonging.

A dancer since the age of two, Reagan believes deeply in the power of movement as a tool for connection and self-expression. She has created an inclusive dance class where individuals with IDD can experience the joy, confidence, and community that dance brings. In addition to this work, Reagan has created an inclusive talent show for individuals with disabilities, led clubs centered on belonging, and developed “Reagan’s Challenge: SMILE,” an initiative that provides tangible, actionable steps students can take to build more inclusive environments. Over the past 14 years, Reagan has connected with more than 10,000 students through Reagan’s Challenge. In addition to her nonprofit work, Reagan has taught dance at a local studio for the past four years and continues to share her lifelong love of dance with others. She is excited about where life is taking her and looks forward to continuing her work of inclusion, connection, and community in all that she does. During her year as Miss Seattle, she continues to expand this work—using her platform to advocate for acceptance, celebrate differences, and create communities where everyone feels seen, valued, and included.
